Bonaire Doet 2023

Giving back to the community

Bonaire Doet 2023

At Grant Thornton Bonaire, we believe in giving back to our community and being a responsible corporate citizen. That's why we chose to participate in the Bonaire Doet event, an annual event that brings together volunteers to work on community projects across the island.

Our team focused on the entrance and parking area of the Tanki Maraka Heritage Park, removing branches and giving the area a fresh look for the public. By participating in this event, we were able to show our commitment to corporate social responsibility and our dedication to helping non-profit organizations that make a positive impact on the community.

We specifically chose this project because we wanted to support the Bonaire Archaeological Institute (BONAI), a non-profit organization that aims to stimulate community involvement in the fields of science and heritage. The Tanki Maraka Heritage Park is not very well-known to visitors of Bonaire and the community, so we saw this as an opportunity to make a difference and contribute to the preservation of our island's cultural heritage.

At Grant Thornton Bonaire, we believe that even small contributions can make a big impact. We're proud to have been a part of the Bonaire Doet event and look forward to continuing our efforts to support our community and promote positive change.
